Really want to like Ocmo but feel like I'm constantly fighting the controls. They aren't very intuitive for the type of game it is.

Shadows remain is probably the very first AR game that wowed me.
It's really clever and overcomes many of the AR limitations when not on a wearable device.
Looking forward to play more.

I beat it. It's actually not so hot. Feels like half a golf game and half an rpg that don't really intersect in interesting ways.
I'm only on hole 4 so far but I would have to disagree. I'm currently loving the game and think the RPG mixed with golfing is what makes the game unique and fun in its own right. The game seems to be a little short but I don't think I've wasted money buying this yet.

But you need to choose where you grab on because momentum and swing interia and where you grab is important.
Yeah as I'm playing more I see some levels wouldn't work with an auto grab option. But still I find the directional grabbing to be a little unintuitive. At the beginning of the game they tell you not to use your thumbs, but I'm playing on a phone and the levels get much faster later on so thumbs are the only way to keep up.

I'm stuck on the high jump level early in the game.

I'm going to have to agree, it's not a patch on Golf Story.

The ball has zero physics so far, it just feels flat and the combat is terrible and awkwardly implemented.

Also, you can't use your finger to move the map, EVERYTHING is controlled by the virtual dpad which just leads to a bad user experience.

Flipflop Solitaire is really neat, but... how is someone supposed to get one suit done in fifty seconds, especially with the inconsistent controls? Is there a strategy I'm missing?

I'm not really getting all that into Tower Fortress.
It's not bad by any means but nothing all that special IMHO.

GRID Autosport has to be the most demanding iOS game yet:

It's also gonna require 6GB of storage.

Yeah i have to agree. Leap Day and Downwell better than Tower Fortress

And Ocmo seems like a speedruning game rather than a platformer with unfriendly controls... so... back to NieR: Automata

Yep. Totally agree with the controls on Ocmo.

Hope you're enjoying NieR! Great game (still have to finish it myself).

The mix of 2D, 3D, bullethell and RPG is making on the most memorable experiences ive had on a PS4 so far. Everything blends in to perfection. Probably is going to end in my top list along with Bloodborne, Resident Evil 7 Biohazard and Horizon Zero Dawn

Reminds me, has anyone else been playing Beat Street? It's a really fun beat em up side scroller with a large amount of content to do. The gameplay is also really good for one touch controls.

Saw Cat Quest has a demo now on PS4. Interested to see how much different it is from the mobile version. Still think that dodge roll would be a good thing.

I am the Hero is pretty solid. I dont really like brawlers but the amount of combos this game lets me do is insane. The control scheme is quite good (the easiest way is to swipe on the buttons, why no one has thought of this before?) and can perform various moves without any complication and can make a wide array of attacks that just keeps going. Is fun and satysfying at the same time. Works like a charm. Even has a move setlist showing the commands and what it actually does. Streets of Race but in 2017. The game also give you the choice at the end of a level between an EX ability or a new character. Seems to be a wide array of moves to unlock as well. Premium with no iap. 2€/$. The pixel art graphics deserves a mention of their own. Needs to be seen live to believe. The reflections and lightning is AAA, as the rest of the game. Really neat stuff that i will go back and play more. Has a campaign (on Steam it says 3 hours) and then a survival mode. Loving this game so much

Footage of Hero Emblems 2, release sometime 2018 hopefully:

I am so excited for this! The original game is in my top 5 ios games ever and I even got my mother to play this and she does NOT play games. Balls hard game but really satisfying and lengthy and...i'll stop there with the strange overtones lol.

I bought it for Switch and on ios when it release there. This is one of those games I'm gonna say is far more enjoyable with a controller. The dodge toll is godly....almost too much so and does make the game easier for me, but not having my finger obstructing my view makes fighting so much better. Recommended on any device but moreso on console if you have the option.

I wondered that. I still haven't finished the iOS version and some of those boss battles are really tough even when you are above the level you are supposed to be. I think the dodge roll would make a big difference.

God this game from HAL Laboratorie's mobile brand HAL Egg looks absolutely

I recommended this one to somebody else who found himself liking Picross style games:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.CasualLabs.PaintItBack
Excellent, if not the best Picross game on the mobile market.

One of my favorite quick litte time wasters is the completely free 0h h1:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.q42.ohhi

You could also try Kubic, a clever perspective puzller:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.appsolutegames.kubic

Mini Metro feels like it was made for touch screens:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=nz.co.codepoint.minimetro

Human Resource Machine is a cute programming puzzler:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tomorrowcorporation.humanresourcemachine

If you like abstract, mysterious and rewarding puzzles check out The Guides:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kevinbradford.games.theguides

Hoplite is more like a rogue like, I guess, but to me it always hat something "puzzling" as well:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.magmafortress.hoplite

No puzzle, but a polished Civilization like for quick games:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=air.com.midjiwan.polytopia

Finally, another not-puzzler but supposed 4X strategy title A Planet of Mine:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tuesdayquest.myplanet
These are perfect suggestions, thanks.

Yeah, just played the Cat Quest demo on PS4 and love it even more than the mobile version. The dodge roll really does make a noticeable difference.
