Genshin Impact
100x100bb.jpg

iOS / Android
Step into Teyvat, a vast world teeming with life and flowing with elemental energy.

You and your sibling arrived here from another world. Separated by an unknown god, stripped of your powers, and cast into a deep slumber, you now awake to a world very different from when you first arrived.

Thus begins your journey across Teyvat to seek answers from The Seven — the gods of each element. Along the way, prepare to explore every inch of this wondrous world, join forces with a diverse range of characters, and unravel the countless mysteries that Teyvat holds...

MASSIVE OPEN WORLD

Climb any mountain, swim across any river, and glide over the world below, taking in the jaw-dropping scenery each step of the way. And if you stop to investigate a wandering Seelie or strange mechanism, who knows what you might discover?

ELEMENTAL COMBAT SYSTEM

Harness the seven elements to unleash elemental reactions. Anemo, Electro, Hydro, Pyro, Cryo, Dendro, and Geo interact in all sorts of ways, and Vision wielders have the power to turn this to their advantage.

Will you vaporize Hydro with Pyro, electro-charge it with Electro, or freeze it with Cryo? Your mastery of the elements will give you the upper hand in battle and exploration.

BEAUTIFUL VISUALS

Feast your eyes on the world around you, with a stunning art style, real-time rendering, and finely tuned character animations delivering you a truly immersive visual experience. Lighting and weather all change naturally over time, bringing every detail of this world to life.

SOOTHING SOUNDTRACK

Let the beautiful sounds of Teyvat draw you in as you explore the expansive world around you. Performed by the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the soundtrack changes seamlessly with the time and gameplay to match the mood.

BUILD YOUR DREAM TEAM

Team up with a diverse cast of characters in Teyvat, each with their own unique personalities, stories, and abilities. Discover your favorite party combinations and level up your characters to help you conquer even the most daunting of enemies and domains.

JOURNEY WITH FRIENDS

Play together with friends across various platforms to trigger more elemental action, tackle tricky boss fights, and conquer challenging domains together to reap rich rewards.

As you stand atop the peaks of Jueyun Karst and take in the rolling clouds and vast terrain stretching out before you, you may wish to stay in Teyvat a little longer... But until you are reunited with your lost sibling, how can you rest? Go forth, Traveler, and begin your adventure!

Alba: A Wildlife Adventure (Apple Arcade)
100x100bb.jpg

iOS
From the BAFTA-Award winning studio behind Monument Valley and Assemble with Care comes something entirely new!

Join Alba as she visits her grandparents on a Mediterranean island. She is ready for a peaceful summer of wildlife exploration with her friend Ines, but when she sees an animal in danger, she realises she needs to do something about it!

This is truly a Mediterranean paradise if you ignore all the litter! From the idyllic beaches to the ancient castle overlooking the town a whole island is ready to be explored. With Ines and your grandfather - who is a total bird nerd - by your side, you can start the movement to save the island. Maybe even the world after that.

- Handcrafted visuals. Every little corner of the island has been looked after with great detail. Trust me, it took us a while to make it

- Join Alba and Ines to found the AIWRL (really rolls off the tongue doesn't it?), an organisation that can save the island

- You will need to gather a bunch of volunteers and the town is full of good people. Help them out and convince them to join you

- There are animals everywhere, can you find all the species?

What you can expect:

- Great music. We worked with Lorena Alvarez, to make a soundtrack that is equal parts Spain and Amazing

- This is a Chillectathon. Make your time on the island your own and experience the adventure at your own pace. No rush

- A place you want to stay. We based this on our childhood summers and, well, we wish we could go back. This island is the next best thing

- Just a feel-good game about running around and doing good deeds

+ In true roguelike fashion, each run is different! Your journey is built from 20+ unique dungeons, 25+ fully animated enemies, more than 50+ perks (passive bonuses), and more than 300+ cards

+ More than 30 achievements to unlock

+ Feeling competitive? Check out the daily challenge mode! Each day has a different set of modifiers which tweak the rules of the game in radical ways.

+ Mobile optimized gameplay. The game can be played one-handed in portrait mode and auto-saves frequently

"There is no game: Wrong dimension" is a Point&Click comedy adventure that will take you on a journey you never asked to go on, through silly and unexpected video game universes.

We sincerely think NOT.

-Almost fully voiced. (May contain traces of foreign accents here and there.)

-Shorter than an MMORPG, which leaves you plenty of time to finish some REAL good games.

-Motion sickness free, which is pretty remarkable for a non-VR experience.

-Contains tons of bugs... but it's supposed to be like that.

-And lots of other surprises!

Witcheye was on sale for 99¢ so I finally got it....definitely feels very slight and shallow in the first two acts so far. It felt like something that could have been as good as a Dandara or whatnot.

So, a bit on a whim, I subscribed to Google Play Arcade or whatever that thing is actually called...

Anybody has recommendations for games on there? Looking for stuff that plays well on a phone and with touch.

Seeing some gameplay of it, I'm hoping super meat boy forever makes its way to mobile at some point. Would be a perfect fit for the platform.

Skip to the later. Not too worried about the plots but don't want to like jump into something that makes 0 sense
I'm probably to close to the series to give a correct answer. I would say just read a synopsis of the one you played if you can't remember and pick up after that in series order. I love the franchise and I couldn't imagine skipping individual releases but that's just me.

I haven't played a phoenix wright since the first one on ds. Can I play one of the ones on mobile and not be totally lost?
You can play them in any order. The stories make sense without any knowledge of the series' history. If a character from an older game shows up, you'll be told exactly who they are and how they relate to the main characters. You could start with Ace Attorney 6 and still have a great time.

But it's definitely preferable to play them in the correct order. Phoenix saying "this is X, she's my old friend and we did Y and Z together" is no substitute for playing through an entire game with X.

Okie dokoe thanks all. Wish the trilogy was out on mobile
Well it is on ios. Not sure about android

apps.apple.com

‎Ace Attorney Trilogy HD

‎Defend the innocent and save the day! Experience the original trilogy in clear, retina-quality HD graphics, and choose to play horizontally for larger backgrounds or vertically for one-handed ease! "Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy HD" includes "Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney", Phoenix...

edit: I don't see it on the android store but you could probably do something via emulation on android based on the original platform versions.

Speaking of things that kind of remind me a little of Phoenix Wright, I'm enjoying Jenny LeClue right now. It feels like an adventure detective game mixed with Nickelodeon. I'm sure its been talked about here before but its new to me since I got the ipad recently.

Thanks infiniteloop for pointing me to this thread. I recently started gaming on my iPad thanks to an Apple Arcade trial and I imagine that's where the vast majority of my gaming for 2021 will take place. Thanks to titles mentioned in this thread and the previous one I already have around two dozen titles queued up. Now that I'm finished Cat Quest 2 the hard part is choosing the next thing to play.

Just finish it today (on Switch). It starts slow but picks up later on. The ending was frustrating for me, though.

So this game was actually released in November but apparently there was a problem after level 3 where the game wanted a Chinese ID before you could continue. A recent patch fixed this and removed it from what I heard. It looks like a neat match puzzler with good production value to say the least.

Question about the great Konami Pixel Puzzle game...

If I exit a puzzle by using the trash can button, does it actually put the puzzle back in the pool of available puzzles left to do for it to show up later or does it actually gets trashed to never come back and I'm screwed out of ever getting 100%?

The first option seems like the obvious one but the wording on the confirmation pop-up has me worried a bit...

Quite LTTP on this of course but "Assemble With Care" was a nice game to play through. Extremely casual and laidback, and a brief length made it a decent palate cleanser of sorts between bigger games. I could definitely get used to more games like that.

Titan Quest: Legendary Edition is Titan Quest with all the DLC included coming February 2nd:

‎Titan Quest: Legendary Edition

‎Titan Quest has captivated legions of players since its 2006 debut. You get the all-encompassing experience of an unbridled, truly heroic journey through the worlds of Titan Quest! Your honorable quest is to save the world! The gods alone cannot defeat the Titans, so real heroes are needed -...
It's coming to Android as well.

And from the description on the store page they'll be making the DLC a seperate purchase if you own the base game already which is nice (as long as it isn't too pricey).

No mention of controller support, but maybe it will if they base this off of the console versions.

The DLC will be free but available as a separate download inside the app.

Unless you meant for those who had the other app before, my bad!

Seeing how the other app is 2.99 and the other is 19.99, I'm thinking that the DLCs will be pricey.

Haha, yeah that's what I'm afraid of. Maybe I'll save $3 off of the DLC pack upgrading the base game.

If it doesn't have controller support I'm honestly not sure I'll get it though. Only played an hour or so of the base game and the touch controls were fine, but I'd prefer the option of a controller at the very least.

Titan Quest is on sale though so it might make a huge difference.

Edit:

Just got word from the publisher:
- It will cost about the same if you buy the DLC separately (though this may not take into account the existing sale)
- The game will support controller in a future patch.
